More people need to understand this (and apply it to more games). If the main criticism you level at a game is “after 9 million hours of playing it, it just isn’t that fun anymore,” then that sounds like a win for the game, to me.

I don’t think that’s fair to say at all, though; a lot of people just don’t have any experience with non-cis men and women, so how would they know exactly what part of the spectrum they’re attracted to, other than “I think both Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are hot, so I must be bi?”

Honestly, that’s a very cool idea, because it would feel a lot more “life-like” than what we’ve got now (since there are plenty of people you’d never expect would go for you, and vice-versa).

It’s really a shame that this will most likely be stuck on Apple Arcade for the foreseeable future, but hopefully it does well enough that Sakaguchi can get back to doing console games at some point. I’m still waiting on the promised Terra Battle console game, because while the two TB mobile games weren’t amazing, the

I’d argue The Last Story (on Wii) was a great game as well (I prefer it to LO, honestly), but it’s definitely a shame that MW has been relegated to mobile games.

I barely follow CDPR, and even I’m aware that they’ve been positioning themselves like this for their fans.

I feel your pain, because I miss those locations. With that said, they removed them for storyline reasons, so I’m sure at some point they will be back. It’s the dark side of this sort of “living world” strategy.

The same guys that have historically refused to drop the price of “main line” titles like Mario, Zelda and Mario Kart, even years after release, lol. I’m not a fan of the practice, but Nintendo knows they have a captive audience.

Yeah, I thought that was pretty wild, too. Five Guys was one of the first fast food burgers were I wasn’t actively aware I was eating something that was barely food, and I say this as someone who loves most fast food burgers.

I feel your pain, but in this case I feel like Nintendo is aware how many Nintendo fans never owned a WiiU. So it’s a really good way to recoup some of the investment. It’s a shame you can’t buy the Bowser portion as a standalone, though.

I prefer rechargeable batteries, but I’m firmly in the “I love the option to pop in AAs” camp as well. It’s the best of both worlds, and as an added bonus, has allowed me to carry my XB1's rechargeable battery pack along into my XSeX controller, which makes it an even easier thing for me to sign off on.

This take absolutely reeks of fanboy bias, lol.

Weird lineup, especially given how Xbox One-light it is, arguably, but Dead Rising is an awesome game (my favorite in the series, and one of my fave games overall), and Little Nightmares is really dope in the same vein as a Limbo or Inside-style game.

Let’s

It honestly sounds like you’re going to skip a ton of games then, so you might wanna reconsider.

I’m pretty conflicted about Hudson leaving again; while I blame him for a lot of went wrong at the end of ME3 (which, in fairness, is still one of my favorite games), he was still a big part of ME’s success, so it worries me for the future of the franchise.

I’m not sure I agree to that extent, but current Bioware is definitely not the “can’t-miss” dev that they were before, say, Andromeda (which I thought was a perfectly good game, just not ME 1-3 good).

I grabbed this one at half off (I have the base game but wanted the DLC and XSX upgrades), so I feel your pain.

Yeah, 100%. I think a lot of people are thinking about the fact that MS is first and foremost a software company, so even when they make hardware, it’s with the software in mind (for the Surface line it’s Windows, and for the Xbox it’s Game Pass and Xbox Live).

Windows is literally what I’m talking about. MS is a software company, they want to sell software; it’s why they’re pushing Game Pass so hard for the Xbox (which is a hardware trojan horse for...their software). Xbox consoles are meant for people who don’t want to play on a Windows PC, as evidenced by the fact that
