I get that there are complex regional distribution deals in place that I won’t ever understand, but “Block all advertising for our product to entire markets” seems wildly counter-intuitive to me. Anyway, if you feel like reliving the early 00's, here’s a 240p upload that works.

I’m wondering if this will affect Chrome’s userbase numbers at all or if people are just so used to it that they’ll suck it up and deal with whatever Google wants.

I’ve been watching my Twitter blow up with an endless stream of women sharing stories of the older men they “dated” when they were teens, and it’s reminding me of all the girls I knew in high school with adult boyfriends that could hook us up with cigarettes and alcohol. I’ve mostly lost touch with those people, but I

Together, my partner and I are able to maintain a stable living. If we split, neither of us can afford to live in or around our city on our own. We’re not married, so the breakup would be 100% free. And still wildly impractical. Financial codependence is a thing.

Isn’t milkshaking becoming a thing? Can someone milkshake this guy while he’s on the loose?

Leaving is impractical for a lot of people. Divorce is expensive and, even for couples that aren’t married, plenty of relationships are financially codependent. Plus the possibility of shared assets, pets, kids, etc.

I wonder if the lowest paid auto workers make enough to buy a new car...

I can’t imagine this idea is floating just to spite influencers. If some random folks managed to leverage their photogenic good looks to monetize their Instagram profiles, then good for them. And for everyone who’s all salty about influencers ruining this or that or being stupid wiener kids or whatever: have you tried

There are websites that sell domain names and they’ll tell you if a name is available or not. And yes, they’ll show you every possible alternative. But I guess “doitforstate.ninja” just wasn’t gonna cut the mustard.

I very frequently see people driving at night with NO headlights. Not even the DRLs. I get it, you started your drive when the sun was out and sunset happens gradually and all the city lights and other headlights mean that you can still see just fine and you forgot. I also remember having a base model 2000 S10 that

He did this in Austin several years ago as well. It was only $30 a head back in 2012, and they seem to have gotten well over a minute of “performance,” so definitely a much better value. My favorite part is when he “invites all the pretty ladies to the VIP section to party with him.” Class act, all the way!

With an origin story like that, I’m pretty sure this guy will be a GOP Congressman fairly soon.

I’ve said this before: I really don’t believe that Howard Schultz wants to be president. He (probably) doesn’t like Donald Trump being president, but he does like the part where he loses less of his coffee fortune to the tax man. In his ideal world, there would be a Democrat candidate who believes that coffee

I’m reading this as “Borderlands 3 isn’t available til 4/20.” Got it. Cool.

I’m really not a fan of these storefront/launchers in general. GOG is cool as far as these platforms are concerned, but I’d rather just buy the game (not license, I wanna own what I pay for) from the publisher.

I’m fine with a scenario where the amount of access broadens.

But the discussion isn’t about making the game easier by default. It’s about adding an option to enjoy an easier experience. You don’t have to take the option. That’s why it’s an option. And who are you to say what the experience of the game is supposed to be about?

If 90% of customers are paying with a card, then shouldn’t they just raise all prices to accommodate the processing fees? This will also cover the cost of labor to handle cash for the few customers who do pay that way. This just seems to me like a way to get 4% out of the majority of customers without actually raising

I just prefer the cosmetic style of a sedan over a hatch. I could certainly be happy with either one though.

For real though, I remember being able to get a super basic pickup (power nothing, AM/FM tuner, automatic optional) for well under $20k and seeing a bunch of those things actually hauling/towing shit and getting dirty and banged up. Sucks for people who actually need the utility of a pickup truck that they somehow
