i also recommend PDF versions of "Where there is no dentist" and "Where there is no doctor" books on how to make shift when in an emergency or ailment. :) also i'd add a crank, recharger and/or an external phone battery pack/charger too. i have a Readyset Solar charger in my kit

me thinks it's your connection. i have a vita 3g/wifi and have no issues getting games to download on my system over wifi. i do have a 100MBs connection to the internet too though, hehe. Just waiting for those bigger memory cards; ran out of space on my 32GB already w/the free psn + games and all. :)

you can disable both trophy and friend online notifications in Settings > System.

it can easily be a TV Box in a 'streaming tv' box way as in a Roku. There already apps for it including Twitter, Facebook, Maps, Mail, Netflix, etc and more coming. Plus, its a good $400 cheaper than an Xbox One. We'll see though, the Japanese did finally start buying into the PSP world so..

yup! i tried to use w/my Vita 3G model and it worked ok but again depends on the connection on both ends to really work and for games to support Remote Play (only major one i could think of was PixelJunk Shooter and Lair).

i think its MS own fault for having a PR/marketing dept w/no direction or uniformity on their statement/policies. as for xboxone release date, i bet its behind sony's.

yea, a good Wii U in that i can take the Vita w/me and play games or use it in the bathroom to play my PS4 (when it comes on Nov 15th) or my bad. :)

oh and it prob will have more 3rd party titles on launch day. yea, my poor Wii U has become my latest Nintendo paperweight.
