I’m a current student. It hasn’t been cancelled; it’ll be held at a different professor’s house. She is amazing, and I encourage you to attend if you feel comfortable and up to doing so.

I just learned that Berring was the interim dean after Dwyer (I’m assuming you’re an alum - I’m a 3L), so this is totally right. I’m so disgusted with this institution.
100% - though, it was 2 of the last 4 deans. I only make that correction because Berkeley Law had a wonderful (female) interim dean before Dean Choudhry was hired, and I don’t want her time at the school to be ignored. They fucked up big time not hiring her instead.
This is a little embarrassing, but I didn’t even know they were related until, like, day before yesterday. But then, I make it a point not to spend too much time paying attention to Kirk Cameron so I guess it’s really not embarrassing after all.
Yes, I am a little frustrated by the “Ugh, Wisconsin is so fucked up!” elements of the reaction to the documentary. I don’t think this is a problem unique to Wisconsin, and I think the outcome could have been the same in literally any other place. Perhaps some of the laws on evidence inclusion/exclusion would have…
Cosgrove’s eye.
Word. The stupidest thing about comments like the one that started this thread is that women still have to justify their interest and enjoyment of ‘manbaby’ things. I’m having none of it. Don’t like, don’t watch - and definitely don’t make it a gender thing.
I went to SXSW this year and was excited about it until the moment I arrived and I realized I am too old for that shit. You have my utmost sympathy for having to deal with it every year.
very great high school dance movie, Bring It On.
SECOND COUSIN! Nooooooo. This I do not need to hear after spending a lot of time with a second cousin that I find very attractive.
The hilarious part is that they're both Tom S. But I knew which one you meant because of the forehead shaving and LOFT sweaters.
Whoa, I'm just glad that I opened this link via your share from crosstalk when I got home, and not while I was sitting in the middle of class... would have been super awk.
I know somebody who wrote into Friendzone and the same thing happened to her. Much of the text of the question was edited, and it changed the entire tone. Also, I read Jezebel for years before making an account to start commenting.
I remember once reading a book which had a line about something like this. The point of it was something along the lines of it being so hot to be the same height as your partner because you're otherwise only ever eye level when you're laying in bed together (only much more eloquently stated). As 5'1", I can't say I've…
I completely agree with you, and I'm always surprised to see such Quinn hate. I absolutely cannot stand the unquestioning worship of Olivia, and Quinn is pretty much the only person to actually ask questions, second guess some of the questionable decisions made at Pope & Associates (though I acknowledge she makes…
I'm with you! I wasn't sure how I felt about Claflin as Finnick while peeking at set photos, but now, seeing him all tall and lean and cheekboned and torso and —- I'm sorry, what was I talking about?
I was mad at you until the qualifier. The Dark is Rising is hands down my favorite, but I accept your Greenwitch love.
I'm washing my sheets right now! And now I feel damn smug about it. I'm gonna sleep so well tonight.
I second this! My parents had a weird divorce and I've had some weird relationships, so I'm generally terrified of both the idea of commitment and also the idea of never being with someone long-term. But spending a lot of time with a friend and her husband has changed my perspective — they've been married about 2…
I would say yay! I travel to NYC alone often, though I used to live there and am familiar with the places I'd like to go/things I want to see. But the first time I went to San Francisco I was on my own, and I also traveled to Seattle and Portland by myself a couple of times. I love it, because it gives me a bit more…
