I guess. I've worked in a traditional datacenter for a multinational bank. When the chillers go down its amazing how high the heat can go before you realize there is something wrong. Still, I can't help but think the worst maintained data center has got to be better than the average laptop.

Keep in mind, these numbers reflect ideal conditions. The people maintaining these drives do not move them around, do not leave them on do not let their pets rub up against them. They do keep them in climate controlled environments with people checking on their status.
