I work with a lot’s specialized boxes running instruments, equipment that cost form the tens to hundred of thousands. As long as it works, and there is no technical reason to upgrade they won’t upgrade it. Heck I still live in world were use tons of serial ports....

I predict people use science in arguments when it suite their ideological needs and ignore it when it doesn’t. And this applies to a whole host of subjects.

But probably not this Rand Paul supporter ....

I don’t have them here it’s been awhile , but a quick search back then lead me to to guy named Jon Entine and thing called Genetic Literacy Project, one of the authors of an article here was scrubbed of his site but she was employed by a genetics company related agriculture and passed her self of as a Mommy blogger ...

Not on this one, but they’ve run a few articles recently written by people associated with an industry gremwashing group ( which was easily verifiable with a google search ) . I took hell for pointing that out. Because pointing out that an article might be have been paid for, somehow equates to hating science ...

I’ll go with the asshole blogger theory ...
