Apple products are fine or maybe excellent, but just because you are receiving what you pay for, most people don´t understand that they are expending 2K+ Dlls on a laptop, and most of the "normal" PC´s out there are sell by the half of that price tag....and then they compare both side by side...the result is obvious.

Maybe not just by the keyboard, but if is a keyboard and a complete OS exactly the same than my computer AND great functions that keep all documents updated, etc like google docs but with MS Office and that kind of programs theeen you get a product that I might buy..

If you are willing to pay at least 2000 dlls for a laptop, I´m SURE you can find some decent PC far away of being fat and plastic. Search under the ultrabook category. The dell XPS 13 Ultrabook, the Zenbook of Asus, maybe Samsung series 9 might be good too.

Maybe they will replace the whole unit by a refurbished when you need a battery replacement through applecare, same they are doing with ipods and ipads when they can´t repair them

This really bother me, Im kind of a techy guy and I love the design of my laptop because is extremely easy to dissasemble and clean the fan or make little mainteneance, If my HDD breaks I can replace it, same with RAM upgrades, etc...

At least they have electricity...
