It will be fine. I’ve gone to the vintage races for the last 10 years. From what I’ve heard, the area they have the concerts isn’t right against the track. They have lots of large fields for parking for the Nascar race.

This will be like one or two weeks after the Cup race-and a few weeks before the vintage race.
Zero survived on the east coast. I had dozens. All were 1/2 rotted by the early 80's when I was buying them up for $100 a pop. Gawd I miss them...
Its cool to watch-and it involves fire.
“Hillclimbers are nuts,” Hey! Well yea I suppose...
I was there for the last one. They ran the road course. I was racing dragbikes at IRP-we raced during the day on Sat. -and the “Saturday nite thunder’ series was running at the circle track that night. We had a group of probably 50 drunk dragbikers cheering on Eddie hill + Ed the Ace McCulloch the 2 drag racers in…
That was pretty damn funny!
Nothing can be changed. But everything is. Its a spec class where every tiny little thing is massaged to JUST make it thru tech. A 1/2 hp is something people will kill for. Started as a cost saving class-now a winning car can run $70k. Referred to at the track as “Spec Pinata.”
Right? And an intake manifold. What happened to the original? you unbolt it + lose it somewheres?
Yes Ludlow. No hillclimb this weekend (although we do Okemo in the summer) Just awards banquet. I end up going thru Chester on the way to rt91. With a stop at the Country girl diner.
Dead-I was thru Chester this weekend. (Hillclimb awards banquet at Mr. Darcy’s.)
Stef-move? Actually live in Maine? You don’t have to do that. Anyone from anywhere can just get a PO box for an address. I know a few who have.
There is no way to tell what nitro is like without being there in person. You’re not off the hook yet.
This will be awesome for my grand children. You see any you tube vids of electric car geeks diving after Tesla batteries? They are the best of the best-highly desired. Now take this good battery-and put the worst part of a Mazda or A Subie on top of it-The sheetmetal. So you got this 10 year old Teslaru with rotted…
But can you remember Buster Browns?
