Beep beep!
I work in the old car biz-have for 30+ years. I can’t believe how much wrong I’ve read in this thread. And yes-Haggerty is a bargain. They know the car ain’t gonna get backed into at the Dollar General.
“counter-point: if you can afford to spend $770,000 on a camaro then odds are money isn’t an issue for you”.
I got to drive a new GN back in the day. I had time to kill at a dealership I had to make a service call to. A salesman yells to me from across the service dept. “Hey-you driven one of these yet?-Come on let go for a ride!” I was driving easy-it only had 76 miles on it. “ come on-get on it!” I come to a stop sign-I…
Ok-so who knows more about how a car company fails than someone who has had it happen?
Amazon never had to ‘build’ anything besides big warehouses-which we know how to do. How about building a million batteries? Or doors? Or steering racks?
Shit like this bugs me.
3 dash lights or under is ok in an Audi.
You totally missed a whole side to him. He was a bike guy that did cars. Heres a great article by Dave Despain written in 2012 about his bike side. https://www.cycleworld.com/2012/05/25/driven-to-ride
PERFECT!! A way out! “We’re sorry. We have to revert back to our original logo -that everyone thought was fine- due to copyright issues.” Win-win!
Remember the Bennett auction in N.H.? Guy had a bunch of them. Went cheap. https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/TB12/The-Bennett-Collection/lots/r185-1988-mazda-323-gtx/593316
Not likely. Remember -an engine is just an air pump. Air comes in-compresses- gets pushed out the exhaust. Add spark + fuel + it will turn over on its own. Its still just a pump-so the water would just get expelled. And besides-an injector doesn’t know what liquid is going thru it-it won’t let more water go thru it…
No ashtrays= room for more cup holders.
I thought this was a shitty idea when i read the headline-you sir have changed my mind!
I’m not buying the engine ‘let go’—at least not in my definition. It’s stalled + won’t start- ok. Kicks + bucks sure. Broke a crank/put a rod thru the block? Gotta be running to do that—and it won’t run on water.
If you ran the Rent-a-Center the rented him this one, would YOU rent him another?
“We used all 24 fonts!”
Until I saw her on Top Gear, I never knew. Seemed pretty wrong.
I agree with Jake. Working pretty hard to look like you aren’t. With a smirk. Jokes on him-I’ve had to work on shitty Rolls Royces-( 1/2 the hydro suspension was “repaired” with plastic hose + ferrules!) )and it was fucking hell. Any wire that goes over a sharp edge-any bump that shakes a part loose, any hip jankyness…
