No-the tire mark would stay pretty good actually. I used to race dirt ovals. Somehow-and I have no clue how-I had a tire mark on my roof. Along the same lines as other said-I kept it as a badge of honor. It stayed during much weekly pressure washing.

Back in the 50's, scientist’s were positive that a dragster couldn’t go faster than 168mph in the 1/4 mile. Due to the traction coefficent. (I suppose after the first dragster went 169 he went on to prove bees can’t fly...)

I seem to remember that Pa is 2nd only to Ca. as far as number of tracks.

Too many correctly spelled words.

Go watch this movie.

Yea-that seemed pretty nasty.

Good thing he has the required FIA open cockpit helmet. All FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS WORTH!

Didn’t even read the article-just scrolled to find this to star it.

In a box somewheres with all the other paper pics maybe-this is all I have scanned. I was hamming it up with how small the car was. (Got another shot of me in crusin’ mode with arm out the window—on both sides!)

And if the track is really willing to give up all the $ they’d lose by throwing out everyone camping in the infield.

Ok-it must be a thing now. I guess I was ahead of the curve. This was me in 1992 in Hungary. Within 30 seconds of a conversation of a very cute Hungarian girl with limited english skills, I was driving it around the city of Gyor. Foot to the floor-hammer shifting as fast as I can. I had those 2 cylinders workin’!

Mules of tomorrow?

Do I still get to like them on FB to make them go faster?

Not till we’re all sick of winning.

Cool! Never seen that one before. Check out our group. hillclimb.org or

Thumbs up for the hillclimb! Where is it?

I used to ride with the Kawasaki Concours owners group. A bunch of members had KLX’s also. Talking at rallies to the hardcore iron butt folks, It was a toss up which bike to use if taking a trip. Pretty good praise from guys that piled up big miles on a regular basis.
