They’re real people?!?!

I love this—but......

You don’t follow NHRA much I take it.

I used to work for a collection that had a few of these. (hated them) The main thing I remember is if you have to panic, hit any 2 pedals at the same time.

Too bad they didn’t have GoPro’s in 1980. This was normal stuff for me + my buddies. Gawd I miss my Datsun 510's.

Oh really?

NEITHER were going to make the next corner with the line they were on. Lewis shoulda slammed on the brakes + let Nico go off wide. Nico shoulda let Lewis go + dive back under him.

The visibility is pretty shitty.

A star for Mr. Chicken! Go look at the falls -and if time the Glen Curtis museum.

Wow-gonna be busy. They are only going to have 3 days to turn it around before the vintage race.

Whats flying off the car besides the blower is the upper 1/2 of the intake manifold. (New this year-a two piece to allow another failure point to let off pressure when things go wrong) To prevent boomers this big.

The were drawbacks to the Cammer under boost + nitro. They were blowing them up when pushed-which turned out to be due to the long timing chains stretching-and retarding the cams. And the motors were terrible to service. Picture how much work it was to pull the front cover + all the chains to pull the heads.

Neither does the coyote-but we still route for him.

If I had a nickel for everytime what I felt in the car (with limited visibility + my concentration forward) differed from what actually happened-I’d have a big pile of nickels.

Since you started calling rt 95 the New England Thruway.

Nativity: New Jersey.

I bet 2 dollars even HE call it Boaty McBoatface.

Yea-thats worth a star.

Now now-thats not how it works. After a year or so you come out with the stronger motor. Two years after that-supercharge it. You just bought yourself five years without having to do any upgrades.

My father was a yearbook photographer. Many different schools. This time of year he was always going over the group photo shot from the roof of the school with a magnifying glass looking for this. Almost everyone one had someone flipping the bird.
