Ok-You'll get cut some slack from anyone that has ever tried taking off slowly with a race car. Its just not in the range of normal use. Maybe not stalling-but fumbling + studdering like a first time driver is a pretty normal sight.

Conditions were so tricky this year, but it has been the best atmosphere I have ever known. The atmosphere has been just magic.

Ohhh stop. You obviously aren't a drag racing fan. NHRA PAYS-yes PAYS ESPN to brodcast their events-and still gets bumped for college volleyball-or little league. Even if its qualifying on at 2am it can get bumped. More than 50% of its broadcasts are on late. (I add 2 hours to all dvd recordings.)

Glad to see Vermont Sportcar has found a way to recycle Christmas wrapping paper.

Good for him! He also runner up'd at the World of Outlaws finals in Charlotte.

A TX500-I think i just threw up in my mouth a little.

Nooo-its the fact that if you/we as American citizens do something stupid, it means that we MUST be able to sue someone because they should have KNOWN something bad could happen. Not that way in NZ. People are responsible for their own actions. (Oh the horror!) And guess what-you try to bring a frivolous lawsuit to

I got towed by one-does that count?

So-how long into this trick do you think he said "Oh shit! The window's completly fogged over and I can't see a fuckin' thing!?"

I race a Yamaha 500 flat tracker on the ice for close to 20 years. We would use Kold Kutter screws. Its a 1/4" hex with a V groove in it. Installed from the outside in. Depending on you preference, short screws that just poke thru the inside-with a couple of slit tubes over the tube—or long screws threaded poking into

Finally-a theory that knock "aliens" off the bottom of the list.

My very limited knowlodge of how it works is from a former co worker who had one at school. (Someone with more insite please correct me.)

Doesn't that look like a fun road to drive up fast? How would you like to try it? YOU CAN!!

Torques! I wanna know torques!

Wait a minute-did Dusty give you any stuffed animals to tie to your car?

Yeah-thats a bit optimistic. My 95 7.3 is fresh rebuilt with 10k miles-and I just did the glowplugs last month-so everything is as good as its gonna be. Only been down to the teens -but you still have to let the plugs warm up 20-30 seconds if you want it to start right up.

No rage-but having done (very) short course like this - 1st lap you're just happy you don't get a handlebar in the gut and you're upright. Everyone is going for the same square inch of inside line. Theres no waiting in a 10 lap race.

I was coming on to type the same thing.

What-he wasn't the author?

I can back up the 'non-red'.
