Wanna make racing more expensive? Make it a spec series-or mandate certian parts. Ok-you can't spend $2000 to modify your engine -so you spend $4000 having every stock part in it massaged. Look at Legends—or Spec Miata. You can either spend money on parts-or spend money on labor.
