I'm old + out of touch. Why is there a a cat head on a strawberry Pop-Tart?

NP —on my geezer scale. When I look at the cars (and trucks) of my youth, this being one of them, its realistically priced for inflation + condidtion. Datsun 510's? Good luck finding one that isn't totally resto-moded-and under $10k. Toyota Land Cruisers? OMG-$50k restored at auction!
Go for it-why not? Too bad they are gonna cut up a decent car-you're going to need a full-on tube chassis and large slicks to get it to hook up-or its an imaginary number. (its smokes the tire everytime I give it voltage!)
Wherever you go Jean, I'm following! (Wait-that sounded creepy...)
The bestest solution that could come from this-some team gives him a ride along-and he can explain why he was wrong—and become an auto racing fan. How frikkin' cool would that be?
Was reading thru before I posted. I got stacks of old Hot Rod magizines. The magic number was 168 mph. Got an issue with "The run that broke the slide rule" on the cover The math said tires couldn't hold traction to do it-well till someone went 170mph. What the article was showing (going from memory -and a long time…
Oh gawd you are sooo right. Back when I was drag racing bikes, i didn't like running the valley. My ex wife said one time "Can't we just stop at LV and get some fries-and then drive up to ESTA?"
The new Oldsmobiles are in early this year.-Jake Blues.
Pfft-that wouldn't even suck up one Corvette.
If you let me drive, we'll call it even.
I'm with you-as far as I'm concerned, 4 of the top 5 best looking cars ever are Jags-with the D on the top of the list.
From articles I've read, (gonna say it was in Automobile) GM went kicking and screaming into the world of cat converters. They spent more on laywers to fight it than it would have cost to just put them on the cars!
If a sinkhole swallowed it, the earth would spit it back out.
The name of my racing team for the last 25 years—Buffalo Racing.
For all you armchair fabricators that tout "oh if I had money I could do that." BULLSHIT! If thats where you stop, then you can't learn anything. I have my own homebuilt race car-have done everything on it-and I don't have money. I made it the best I could with what I have. If I had more money, I could make it much…
I worked in the vintage race trade for a while. (and saw the golden era 60's+ 70's first hand). And I've seen people obssesivly try to recreate history. Race cars -then as now- are in a constant state of development. What is "right?" Or "original?" How it looked when it was 1st built? How it looked when it raced…
Lets screw-my finger's tired.
Oh pleeze-give me a break. Officials don't get a day off? They can't be people for a few minutes? How much you figure this cost you? Think about it while you're cleaning your musket + yelling at kids to get off you lawn.
