It's a stupid setup with Laurel having no actual crucible to be the BC. My depressing speculation is they are purposely calling Sara "The Canary" so they can stupidly later on call Laurel the Black Canary. And Laurel will name herself The Black Canary because she thinks the name is so beautiful.

Later Blood said that Slade would kill the person he loves the most (who I think is going to be Thea). If one thinks the City is the person then I accept that it is the City, but I think they were separate things.

I thought it was more of a joke about pirates vs saints and how Gavin would think of it as actual pirates vs actual saints.

I think in this show it seems more egregious than it might really be. The problem is that it's a small cast and you have the two main characters with most of the plots and arcs as it should be.

I think Dollhouse was a just a weird show but his role was fine. I think he just became so seen as "Helo" that anything else was jarring.

It better not be to take down Dean, it better be to save him. But I have a whole other fanwank speculation I've listed here.
