Just an FYI....the Kindle was not wiped remotely....that device was already broken, but Amazon closed her account because she broke the terms of service by buying her books in a different country (She was in Norway, but buying them from the Amazon.co.uk store). What she did loose was all the purchases which is equally

Nope.....just make sure you download it though in case they cancel your account. Also iTunes and Google Play Music is DRM free.

I love mine.....also check out http://www.hippressurecooking.com

iTunes has an option to downgrade your songs to 128Kbs. When you connect your device to iTunes go to the device settings page and check the box on the first tab to convert music copied to that device to 128Kbs. That will allow more music though it will not sound as good as the original version if it's a higher

I'd add equalizer for Android if you phone has no built in equalizer settings. It greatly makes Google Music much better. I actually prefer it for the saved settings over the stock equalizer built into my phone (Galaxy Nexus).

Firefox 16.0.1 out now....at least for Ubuntu Linux.

Vote: Koss Portapro They are 25 years old and still sound awesome for the price.

True. I forget since my emergency kit does include a camp stove and fuel.

Bing - used by people who don't know how to change their default search engine in IE :P

Surprised pasta, rice, dried beans and the always necessary ramen are not on the list. They have a shelf life of forever.

If you also have GrooVe IP installed that will prompt the complete action with box killing the vulnerability.

It may be sending them as pictures. GMail does this, but it doesn't work in reverse from IOS. At least in my testing with the emoji keyboard.

Emoji only works between IOS devices (such as in iMessenger). Doesn't work in email so take note. It would be really nice if in email and other programs that are not IOS only it inserted them as a picture (much the way web based GMail does if you insert emoji).

Argh! Website for the PC piece has been LifeHackered! Patience....patience.....

Chrome encrypts with your Google Login and not the machine login (for instance you don't "login" to your iPad). If you have two-factor authentication turned on then that's another layer of security over Firefox. The real problem lies in once you login to Chrome, you stay logged in and someone can come along and see

"Turn-by Turn navigation: Only the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 get turn-by-turn navigation because it's integrated directly with Siri" - Certain iPads get it too. My iPad 3 has it now.

The offical Google Search app on the iPad has a nifty feature too. If you open the app and select "Applications" under the search box you get links to the web versions of just about anything not supported via an app on IOS (News, Reader, Picasa, Offers, etc.). Also baked in is Google Goggles.

I thought Sparrow is no longer being updated since Google bought them. Am I wrong there? If you only have one GMail account the official GMail app is great. I use it to separate my personal GMail from corporate email being dumped in one client.

If you have a Kindle, then Readability's "Send to Kindle" function is a super easy way to get Wikipedia and other web stuff on your Kindle. Click the extension and done.

I just use Google+. Any photo or screen shot on my phone is automatically uploaded. On the desktop, it's a drag and drop experience. The nice thing is you can share a photo(s) with people not on Google+ with a link (FYI, Google+ albums are Picasa Albums in disguise, so you can go either route to get the link) or by
