I just throw the apk files into Dropbox and then on the phone "export" the file to the SD card.

Loading a Linux distro like Ubuntu is simple.....dare I say much simplier than installing Windows typically. At least that has been my experience. Once in awhile a device may have to have the WiFi driver tweeked to get it running, but compared to upgrading a Vista laptop to Windows 7 when the manufacturer doesn't…
And know how to load a Linux distro :P
I usually do pay for the "premium" app to remove ads if it's something I use a lot. If I hardly use the app, then I'll settle for ad support unless the premium version has other features added. What I hate is paying for the premium app and there are still ads in there!
Seems if he used a Belkin WeMo switch to do the turning on/off that would have been much easier.....but where is the fun in that :D
Oh boy, you get a $100 to give back to your carrier for early upgrade penalties :P
VOTE: Audacity I use it on both Windows and Linux.
Shopperapp is cross platform (IOS, Android and Blackberry) and has a web portal for the significant other to add things to your honeydue list.
You can download all from Amazon....select "Songs" and then click the check box above the top song and you will see the total number of downloads on the download button (Should match the total # of songs you have). To download a whole album click the album name of the album you want to download and it will show you…
I took an old terribly uncomfortable pair I got for free and gutted the circuit board and controls and placed them with the recharchable battery into a very small project box. I wired the connections for the speakers to a standard headphone jack and now I can plug in any headphones (read: high dollar comfortable ones)…
VOTE: iTunes
If you use iTunes, you can select "Alert Me" on the right side of any artist page. You will get an email each week with new albums from the artists you setup alerts for. Then you can go to Amazon.com to buy them :)
Amen to that! All I learned about welding came from discharging large capacitors with screwdrivers :D
Use the Shopper App (Available on a variety of smartphones: http://myshopperapp.com). Organizes by aisle for you. It may need a little tweaking based on your store, but that isn't hard to do. And as a bonus it has a web portal and it's sharable so your significant other can add stuff to it when you aren't looking!
Other things to consider which to get:
Some dying components can be caused by the chipsets. I had an HP laptop that first the CD drive died, then the wired LAN port and then the WiFi. Finally the thing would not boot. Turned out to be the NVidia chip on the motherboard was coming loose (known problem) and the heatsink was not properly cooling the chip.…
This would be nice on a tablet, but I'd still be weary loaning my expensive toy for others to use :)
It's not the same as multiple accounts, but on the iPad you can turn on restrictions and lock things down including ratings for content. It's what most parents would do for their kids. You turn on restrictions with a pass code and then disable with the same pass code.
You can now load Google Wallet, but you have to do a direct link to install it. Simply searching in the market will not find it. I know because I loaded it the 2nd day after the ruling and it works on my VZW Galaxy Nexus (not rooted).
Or.....standalone electric burner, a metal pan and some wood shavings (these can be purchased at any store that also sells the Cameron stovetop smoker). This setup pretty much mimics the professional smoker units though your grill will not have quite as good a seal with the smoke. Plug any holes in the grill with wads…
