Seems to me everyone is freaking out a bit too much about this. If you read the Lastpass blog closely they have no evidence of a break-in, just an anomaly on a non-critical PC and they are being cautious particularly with users who haven't used a strong master password

You can do the same with Lastpass...it has two factor authentication.

Seems a decent hacksaw blade could do the same cutting without inflicting too much damage. I cut Plexiglass all the time with a hack saw. I wouldn't think the acrylic is that thick in these things. You can pick up a hacksaw blade and holder at any dollar store.

Don't forget lightning can strike the cable line, antenna or phone lines that are still attached to those devices, so even if you unplug power to your TV, cable modem or other devices, you want to disconnect those lines too.

Seems odd to "skim". I would think you'd spend too much time trying to skim it that you end up over extracting. A lot of places I shop online are now charging sales tax anyways. Shopping online is about either the best deal vs. local price or it's the only place to get something. If the item is local and cheaper or I need it now, then I'll buy local every time. Even with sales tax, I still see most stuff online as being cheaper.
