I just remembered my dad’s ‘73 Dodge pick-up.

I don’t know how we managed it, but my dad had the holy grail of bad cars a 1980 Olds Delta 88 diesel. He got the diesel because we lived on a farm and had our own diesel pump, but that car was louder at idle than our Deere tractors with the PTO engaged and there was never a time when something wasn’t broken on it.

But doing a good number of repairs might give them insight as to what the common failures are on Tesla’s and what holds up well. That might help GM to make different engineering decisions in some areas.

Ive always thought of owning one too until I drove a Testarossa...it was not nearly as enjoyable as I wouldve imagined and really killed the car for me.
