Having owned a 997 for 3 years, they are great cars, but not without problems (rattles, squeaks, various issues - btw. nobody who has owned these cars would call the interior a “masterpiece”...though it certainly is compared to the 996). My run of the mill 997 C2 cost plenty to maintain over these 3 years, but didn’t

With a head in my lap like that, I’d be tempted to just stick my finger in their ear. Or lean over and say “oh hello there” upside down...

I actually have a (short term) reclined seat horror story.

The more common description is “BOBFOC”; Body off Baywatch, face off Crimewatch…

If he comes out of the tower and sees his shadow, we get four more years of fascism.

There once was a fool from Manhattan

Interestingly enough, while he’s in there, Trump is also picking up his cellphone, even for unidentified callers

Anyway, we know where this is going: Someone is going to have to lure Donald Trump out of Trump Tower with a six-foot portrait of himself and force him to be president.

Seems to be only young people... What us older people value most in a career

After seeing the One Take with the newer CL55 I’m buying that one not one with a horrendous stripe, high mileage, and stuck on iPad holder. CP.

10 year old 200k super coupe - check

I concur - This has been my daily for going on three years. It’s a glorious every-day car that’s been really rewarding to own/drive/work on.

I’m a W124 man and I would have agreed with this had I not accidentally bought a ‘97 W210 E320. It’s a smidge under 200k miles just now and running brilliantly. It’s probably the most economical car I have, too.
I bought it for £600 two years ago and have been driving it in preference to the W124s to try and squeeze

Old? 1988? Is there anyone there who’s actually potty-trained yet?

Now playing

These things are an exercise in marketing and profit margins, they are incredibly cheaply built and sold at eye watering prices even by Australian standards.
