I’m surprised they haven’t.  I don’t go to La Jolla because it’s a pain in the ass getting in and out of there and it’s crowded with tourists.  But if there are people living in vehicles, I would think that would be the first place they would be kicked out.  That part of the city gets special treatment generally.

I went with my A4 sedan (as a CPO) in 2010 as we also had a GTI for when a hatch was necessary. In retrospect, I should have just gotten a newer Passat wagon at the time. FWIW, neither my wife nor myself ever had any real issues at all with the VWs…
