I would think that applies to most terrestrial radio stations. I have a feeling Sirius subscriptions have fallen off as well, and will continue to as long as more and more people work from home. I do stream Sirius at home for some specific things at times, not sure how much their listener base does that.

One of the best Jalopnik comments this week.  If not the best.

I remember when I was a kid, a common refrain when one would comment about a well-off person who was a complete cheapskate was “that’s why they’re rich”. Um, no. You don’t get rich undertipping or trying to save 10 cents a pound off of a bag of apples. The person has dough because they get paid a lot for what they do

I wish we would have got those in the US.

Nope.

I agree that between the R and the GTI, the latter is a better value. We had a MK5 GTI for 100K miles and was a great car. It was my wife’s daily for most of the time, but when she got a new daily, it was mine for about a year. I prefer leather seats, which is what we had in that one. :)

I have a friend that owns a business where he delivers cars to customers and he’s driven pretty much every single car on the road. His top two small cars are the Fiesta ST and Golf variants - the R and the GTI his favorite, of course.

Admittedly, I’ve never even been in a Focus RS, though I’ll allow it seems like a cool car, but I’d not take one over a Golf R. No way.

I mean, you could do that, but..

Not really. There are far more efficient planes.

I mean, 75K doesn’t seem like a lot. My car is also a 2013 and has 85K on the clock. And I’ve been working from home since late 2015.. Granted, I’ve done multiple trips to LA for work and roadtrips to PHX with the dogs in the back to visit the in-laws, but still not enough of that to make up for the fact that I’m not

All I gotta say is.. wait till you hit your 50's..

Or forklift operator..

They changed the interior for model year 2018. Though the previous one was around for a long time..

Yea, it’s pretty unfortunate. The second favorite car I’ve ever owned was my 2005 Passat wagon. I put 100K trouble free miles on it. You could also get them optioned really nice back then.. Was great for hauling shit around and generally fun to drive.

Yea, people like this dude are weird and insufferable.  Like what’s the point of popping around to different comment sections and being a dick on purpose?  I mean, I get it “welcome to the internet, it’s terrible here”, but even after 25 years of this, it’s still irritating.

Why would anyone buy a Mini when the GTI exists and is 100 times better in every way?  HOW many times were you dropped on your head?  Must have been a lot.

It’s just a regular insult - directed at a troll with zero reading comprehension skills.  So in actuality, it’s not really an insult, it’s a correct observation.  Stop saying stupid things.  Problem solved.
