Yea. This was in La Mesa. They have a car meet there once a week.

+1 on both.
It does? 116 years after the first one?
I have one of these and it’s generally better overall as a device than the first gen ones. But seriously - the remote they give with it is truly terrible. Yes, I know I can control it with my iphone - but I shouldn’t have to.

I’m always shocked when I run across someone like this. Seemingly intelligent, not a super old fart racist dummy, etc.. And then something along those lines pours out of their pie hole.
Yea, I wasn’t that impressed with the engine, but my overall impression was good. It was tricked out with full leather, vented seats, car play, etc.. And I really only used it on the freeway from PHX to Flagstaff and back. Was a nice car. Better than the Jeep. But again, I’d get an X5 before either of those.
Yep. We’re on our second 4 series that’s my wife’s daily driver - 2019 440 - and I know for a fact that we will not replace it with this abomination when the time comes. And I fucking love this current car, even though I don’t get to drive it very much.
I had a high end Explorer (not platinum) for a rental several weekends ago in AZ. I actually did like it a lot and compared it favorably (as in better) to the loaded Jeep Grand Cherokee I rented for a weekend in June of this year.
No, you were right to hate on hair metal. It was and is terrible.
We had lunch with friends last weekend we hadn’t seen in a while. They live here in Southern CA but both of them have families in New Jersey and are originally from there.
Her parents are retired and live in a small town on the Jersey Shore and every summer for several years, she takes a a couple weeks or so off work…
No, I never saw them. Doesn’t surprise me, though.
I’m surprised more people are not commenting on that. IMO, shouldn’t they all have at least comparable tires?
Excellent. :)
Dad Radio? LOL. As opposed to Whitesnake schlock or other hair metal silliness? Now you’re just trolling.
Pretenders, U2, Blondie, Ramones, The Cult, REM, Smithereens, Bowie, Prince, Police, The Cure, The Cars, Springsteen, Talking Heads, Eurythmics, Tom Petty, The Clash, Beastie Boys, Joan Jett - off the top of my head.
Whatever floats your boat. I think they’re an example of the worst of the 80’s music-wise, but that’s just IMO.
Best/worst.
I’m not a big fan of rap, but your argument against it is Whitesnake? Good one.
