Exactly.  IMO, the board blew it.  This was their chance to get him out.  And I think he needs to go and let an adult run the show now.  As someone on here the other day - “go play with your rockets.”

I agree. It’s time for him to step out of the way and let a reasonable adult run the show now. One can heap a lot of praise on them/him for what they accomplished, including changes to the entire auto industry that they helped push. But he’s a visionary - that doesn’t always transfer well to continuing on leading a

I’ve experienced effectively the same thing. The older I got and the more stories I heard, it became more shocking until I wasn’t shocked anymore. Just saddened.

I’m going to look up whether or not anybody ever actually uses the Eco mode on their cars. They shouldn’t.

I agree.  That doesn’t happen all the time, but it really has aged well.

I was thinking more along the lines of the autobahn.

You may find yourself behind the wheel of an irritating automobile

Here in Southern CA, it’s generally the former.

Couple things - the youngest millennial is 21 now. The oldest ones are 37. 21 is definitely still a “kid” in my book, but more than half the generation is over 29..

This is a FOUR ring binder.  I KNOW WHAT I HAVE.

A lot of them love their “traditional” roles, don’t they?

I don’t mind sleek and minimal. But IMO, the interiors don’t seem to have the same fit and finish as a 5 series or E Class.  I get what you’re saying about the S Class.  However, I don’t know if we can consider Tesla to be eating all their lunch since they still aren’t making a profit.  I appreciate and like the Tesla

Yea, I can’t disagree with any of this. Kudos to them for what they did - to a point. And they helped push the market. But like you, I kept saying that at some point, fewer people who can afford a Tesla model s are going to stay or get on board unless they up their luxury game. Their interiors are almost laughable at

Because of the Padres and the Rockies.  :)

I vaguely remember that as well. Now he’s completely off his rocker and looks like some kind of fucking demented Richie Cunningham with that ridiculous hair.

In ‘92, I took two weeks vacation and packed my ‘87 Fiero for a road trip. I drove from San Jose to Vancouver BC and back. I suppose that the most impressive thing about that was the car didn’t break down once given it’s propensity to do just that.

FWIW, Umphrey’s McGee has been covering it forever..  I know they’re not as widely known as Weezer, but they have a pretty faithful following and tour a ton selling out decent rooms all over the country.
