We don’t have a set rate. Lyft seems to have leveled off during peak times and is cheaper by quite a bit later - looks like right this moment - 842a CA time - it would be 23 dollars to take Lyft to the airport, getting me there in about half hour with traffic.
Last time I went to the airport - 10 mile ride for me - it was at 745am and 40 bucks. Which is what it was for a taxi for me pre lyft days. Still preferable for a variety of reasons.

I hate taxis as well, for all the reasons you state. Although I will say that for rides to the airport for me, the price has crept up on Lyft - as I figured it would over time.
