Poor bugger didn’t even get rid of that login popup he was so vehement about, when a few uBlock rules do it just fine. Good riddance.

Next up, non-paying users are introduced to a poop emoji badge after their name, which they can get rid of for just $4 per month?
As they said, there should be more world circuit events coming in the future. Here’s hoping they introduce more events for lower end cars; those ten lap challenges are okay but they’re practically all about Gr.3 or Gr.4, which tends to get a bit boring in the long run.
Rest assured, microtransactions aren’t a “huge part of the game.” You get tons of freebie cars just playing through the career mode and a futuristic supercar capable of 600km/h only costs 1 million credits (about two hours of gameplay).
Yeah, thanks for nerfed payouts, GAMING COMPLAINERS (just kidding)
Perhaps not huge but admittedly welcome. I already discarded a bunch of duplicates (cars I had bought that were later given as a prize for something) but in hindsight, probably should’ve kept them. Oh well, not that many credits lost, anyway.
No can do. It really is a rather brilliant racer with long legs. The only ones unhappy about it seem to be piranha gamers (and journalists) who’d like to devour it as fast as possible in order to move onto the next thing.
There, there. Gaming is not for everyone, especially easily angried people. Maybe some other, less touchy hobby would be a good idea?
There’s no such thing as “forcing people to buy MTX”. Either you do or you don’t. Most people don’t.
32 hours and counting. Maybe the next patch will contain an additional song for the soundtrack.
Yup, that’s another good reason to have multiples of the same car. I’ve probably already discarded some cars that I’ll some day just have to get again, if only to meet certain requirements or aesthetic preferences, but such is life.
Because duplicates? I’ve discarded a bunch of them just for that very reason. Sure, you could have multiples of the same car, each tuned for various tracks but that’s going hardcore.
Is the used car market really that bad already? I’ve been driving for 34 hours, amassed 10 million credits during that time, and now it’s just a blessing if all the used market cars are ones I already own (no more impulse purchases). And there’s always Brand Central for those, who want to get rid of their credits as…
An amusing turnabout given the British instructions to “do shite” (^^;)
Fair enough. Seems like next year will be the third year in a row without a chance to visit but that’s just the way it goes. If anything, the ban has been impressively strict and consistent from day one. Very easy to respect and I’m sure that once the country wants to open up for tourism again, they’re OK with it and…
Can’t help but wonder how Id lawyers feel about doomsday devices, Doctor Doom, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, etc. etc.
Don’t forget riolu of the Trackmania fame ;)
Funny how no reviewers bumped into this. Manual saves or not, sounds a bit of a bummer. Then again, always nice to have early adopters to work out the bugs.
Depends. I loved both Far Cry 2 and 3. 4 already felt quite a bit like just the same old, same old. 5 I picked up just this year from a bargain bin and sure enough, it got stale even faster.
A bit toxic for sure. Then again, I guess even authors have a bad day now and then.
