There aren’t tons of stereotypical white people NPCs in GTA? Or even missions all about them and their comeuppance? If anything, GTA has done a fine job satirizing modern life in general rather than vilifying anyone in particular. So yes, GTA is still very much relevant in 2021. Same with South Park.

As a common tourist, I don’t hate Zedd but I do applaud Japan’s take on COVID. From the very beginning, they made clear that travel is temporarily a no-no and although this probably means a third year in row without a chance to visit Japan, it’s still a commendable policy. Once Japan lifts its gargantuan restrictions,

If at first you don’t succeed... Buy, buy again.

Yup, an acquired taste. Over 20 years ago, I recall being drawn into One Piece (anime) for around 200 episodes until it just felt like it wasn’t really going anywhere at all. I suppose it has surpassed 1000 episodes by now, so even that was a relatively early exit. Still, those super long series spanning actual decades

What’s wrong with a mechanic that might be considered boring? There’s always the choice to go in guns blazing for some truly intense and insane action but some might consider that boring as well. ME1 was good but the further the series went, the less it felt like an action-RPG and the more like an action-packed FPS.

Ummmm... You can still secure them if you absolutely want to, and, of course, owners of physical copies already have them and will continue to have them until the physical media itself gives up.

Well, the CEO is the one calling the shots and getting roasted if things go south. Imagine yourself modeling a gun for the next Call of Duty and doing a real brilliant job at it, and then the game releases.

Can imagine. Tried it a while back but being more or less shoved out of the dungeons once your time is up just felt way too brutal. Didn’t get into the series until P4G but been a fan ever since and if they ever remaster P3 with “modern” mechanics, that’d be a day one for sure!

Good piece. The first TDU was all sorts of wonderful, but it took five years for a sequel that was a bit rubbish all-around, especially trying to drive from the interior view. Another ten years have now passed and I really, REALLY want TDU3 to deliver but that trailer doesn’t do much at all. It’s such a shame how the

Tokyo Jungle - you get to be a whole variety of dogs!

Hear, hear. That last paragraph was pure gold. People who already had loose money to throw in a joke like this might suddenly find themselves with a whole lot more money the longer this goes on.

Was just about to ask Luke what he meant by “only some games” but looks like he’s not alone. No wonder the scientists are at it - the way we play is even more varied than I imagined. Personally, absolutely everything has to be Y-axis inverted while inverted X-axis makes no sense whatsoever. Brain’s a funny thing for

Roughly the same. Got PS4 about a year after its release, once its game library started to seem half-decent, and while it has been my go-to console ever since (skipping the silly mid-gen Pro era entirely), PS5 faces the same treatment.

The “Latest Tweets” setting stays on just fine as long as you don’t block or delete cookies set by the website.

The four fossils per day are guaranteed, so no technical harm there but yeah, fishing has certainly taken a pounding. Eggs gone after all recipes crafted would have been a nice touch but at least the patch helps a little and this will all be over next week. Good acid test for future events, too: never do twelve day

The problem is, musicians in particular have alternative income sources via live performances. Streaming services also work, sure, but even without paying a penny, there’s still radio. TV series and movies have it the same but once again, there’s still TV.

Microtransactions -> run
Microtransactions, but... -> run faster

Whenever Amazon gives a chance to be notified via email when a sold out product becomes available, make use of it. It might seem unlikely but it does happen and that’s where those few precious minutes are often won or lost.

A pet peeve at best but there’s dubs and there’s original audio. The latter is always there from the beginning but it might get dubbed. Now get off my terminology lawn.
