Agreed. After watching this clip, I'm still coming to grips with the fact that this was made in 1999. Don't know how that kind of futurism will translate into a new game, though.

It's not a bad title. I did originally assume it was a sci-fi show about an attack on one of Jupiter's moons, though.

I love PB's cyberpunk-ish outfits. The last time she wore something with under-circuitry was Lady & Peebles, if I recall correctly.

Had a wig for his brain, and a brain for his heart.

Clint: "After you, Hawkeye!"
Kate: "Thanks, Hawkeye!"

Now playing

Just going to listen to the Protomen on loop while I examine these panels.

Like Indiana Jones, Uncharted is modeled after pulp adventure novels/films. They're very well suited to episodic storytelling.

No! No, Meatman! I'm sorry!

No Infamous 2? Not a single Uncharted game? What is this I don't even

I can't believe I didn't read about Banks's passing. This is so upsetting. He was my favorite modern SF writer; my benchmark. The thought that I'll never read a new Culture novel again is more than I can process right now…

I look at that and wonder, "Did they really manage to get all the Bond actors together on a casino set?" Probably a 'shop job, but my inner dreamer hopes it's real.

In one episode (I believe it was "Finn the Human") Jake transforms into an automobile and Finn "drives" him for a distance. Try wrapping your head around how he was able to form functioning wheels without disconnecting parts of himself. I could swear I've seen an episode

The first thing I thought of when the chassis was revealed was "It reminds me of the PS2." And that's a good thing.

He nailed Ocelot's enunciation from Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 4, though— in all its cheesy glory. Between that and the duster, it was clear who that character was from the first scene.

Anyone who says this character "doesn't look black" has never seen— for example— Pam Grier. Skin color and facial structure run the gamut in the human race. Don't generalize.

FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Have you read Demon Knights? I'm loving it so far. Vandal Savage as a likeable rogue is huge fun.

I was thinking of spin-off titles during those scenes. Settled on "The Jolly Adventures of Cat & Hound."

"The protagonist of Grand Theft Auto: The Lost and Damned is Jewish. Here's a game called The Shivah. And... surely I'm short a few examples. Pray tell, what are they?"

You're right. To do this man justice, it must be mentioned that he once played Willy Wonka's estranged father.
