I don’t disagree. But I think they have wider goals than that. Hence the militarization of the police and the refusal of courts or local governments to bring them to heel. 

Maybe they still have their jobs because the real point of the police isn’t to keep us safe, but to terrorize people of color and institute a military police state.

Students from Sacramento City College and several local high schools (including the one Clark attended) have taken to the streets and are currently marching to the Capital building. I’m super proud of these kids and also so very worried for them.
