I think the A’s will fill the vacuum as the last professional team in the East Bay. Now that the Raiders--and their demands for a free stadium--are leaving, they will be able to build near Jack London Square or rebuild at the Coliseum. I really hope the team and region go all in for one another.

Fair point! I didn’t realize RFK was super shitty. As we’ve seen, unless you’re the unicorn that is Lambeau Field, football-oriented stadia don’t age like ballparks.
