Tall? Narrow? My dude, I think you're looking at it sideways

The amount of fiat love on this site does not go unnoticed, you guys have good taste

Love it.

Yessir - a mix of back-to-stock, period Abarth, other make and model parts, and some more modern updating. Took 3 years to get the parts together; hoping to show it for a year or two, then continue driving it regularly (was able to put about 3,000 miles on it this summer before the teardown thanks to WFH)

Always dig the inordinate amount of 850 coverage here, almost always from Mr. Torchinsky himself. My 71 is off for paint and bodywork as I write this!

Honestly? Ain’t even mad.

Ah, yes, the classic "going back to our racing roots by encouraging others to race our shit" shtick.

This has been for sale for YEARS and was originally listed in the low 20ks.

That’s fair. Im more concerned here with positioning the ridgeline as an “emotional purchase”, when in reality they should be positioning it as “the right truck for 70% of truck buyers” and concerning themselves more with what they can do to make it as capable as possible while maintaining the user friendly handling,

I hear that - gaping market hole stateside. What I’m saying is, the marketing logic on Honda’s end here is flawed both ways: assuming that anyone who buys a truck is doing it to pose (in which case, they won’t be buying a ridgeline, they’re going for a full-size truck with brag-worthy numbers), and assuming that the

“Trucks are an emotional purchase”

No

Its a one-off Ghia Aigle design for VW, it was their proposal to replace either the karmann ghia or the beetle, can't remember which. Found in a shed, duly restored, and now it looks like that - really a great design.

Same color, same slab sides, same pillarless greenhouse, same wraparound bumper, same auxiliary lights, same basic grille profile, same, same, same...

It goes light up front at about 60; steering is just about impossible at 70. Haven't pushed mine harder than that.

Love mine, though it is really, really small. Despite that, at 6'2" I can drive a good few hours before I start getting numb and sore - as long as I’m wearing loafers.

Can confirm. My neighbor owns a butt-ugly yellow and white two tone. Sounds like an R/C car going by.

Gladly - I think there are 2 or 3 floating around stateside on either diplomatic plates or shady imports but I’ll get in touch if/when I make it happen!

Oh finding them in Europe is easy - getting them here under travel restrictions is the problem. I've contacted two importers stateside and both are just working with Japan right now. I'm thinking I'm going to have to wait to go over there and organize shipping myself.
