Thanks for your reply.

What sourced examples do you have of societies that were female-dominated or egalitarian?

Amen. At 14, I would have actually loved it if an adult took me aside to talk to me about harassment and assault—because it was already happening to me and I had no words for it and no validation for my anger at it. If anything, I’d err on the side of bringing up the topic too early.

I remember seeing Billie Joe Armstrong in an interview talk about how lame his son thinks he is. There’s no way to remain cool when your kids are teenagers.

Yeah, the whole heroin addict-rock star thing works out fine for their audiences, not so much for their kids. I imagine she had to do a lot of work to come to grips with his “legendary awesomeness” vs. her childhood’s reality. I say this as a huge Nirvana fan and as an addiction therapist.

Also, since jokes about hatred of women have spanned the ages, then jokes about hatred of men surely have a place too.

Also, how many paragraphs long can a statement be, with how many repetitions of the same point or phrase, before you admit that it was fully contextualized on its own, with no room for misinterpretation?

And Edward Norton!

My favorite aspect of this is the obvious process of giving up. At the beginning, you sound like you actually expected to have a conversation. By the end, you’re just trying to catch the early train and still get a good reference from him. I feel you.

Hopefully it kicks off a huge domino run of gross-guy takedowns. The only respectable authorities left by the end will be, like, Shonda Rhimes and Elizabeth Warren.

That is so depressing.

I strongly want Obama on the post-it as well, but question: did you see the #That’sHarassment videos? They’re all based on real reports, and one of them involves an attractive black male politician harassing a young female reporter. I’m very concerned it was either Obama or Corey Booker. His voice sounds a lot like

Idk, my takeaway is more about how men only ever address this shit when it affects a woman they are personally invested in.

Do women have to do all the emotional labor for relationships they’re NOT in, too?

I don’t get this rumor at all. Leo pretty much never dates women over 25.

Yep, let’s go with that! I’m an 80's person! Let’s get physical!

I’m sorry to say that I did try a few expensive creams, and none helped before the exercise. I now use only regular moisturizer, so it’s almost like a controlled experiment.

Barre, running and yoga. I think running alone (cardio) would have done it though.

Feel free to ignore this, but I noticed my eye circles went away when I went from doing moderate exercise to intense exercise, and at least 5 times weekly. I believe there’s a connection to circulation.
