While I dont know the technical bits of x86 to ppc (i know it the other way around), im pretty sure its less demanding than ppc to x86/64 since its not a straight forward translation. Could also be that some of the OG Xbox's hardware was present in 360.

People need to look at apple for this kind of backwards and why it doesnt make sense to try and emulate things that were power pc based.
