As with a lot of retailers (bestbuy,gamestop i know for certain;former employee), they simply mark things they will no carry as discontinued. With gamestop it usually means that theyre going to inflate used prices like they did with xenoblade, with bestbuy it means they probably dont want it on shelfs anymore.

Why do people still call QTE - quick time events? The game which coined the phrase (I believe it was Shenmue) called it quick timer events, which I believe makes more sense.

It sucks. These publishers need to stop being assholes and allow more time for development. The consumer is partly to blame for this because none of this nonsense will end until we vote with out money.

The ps3 controller . . . the most shoddy controller ever built. Broke it button mashing -_-. Even my older console controllers, which have been thrown down stairs in rage (i have angry friends lol), still work to this day.
Its called the gamecube lol. Look up the xplay drop test.
They need to pit this against the gamecube. I remember the xplay drop test where they did this for the ps2 xb1 and GameCube.

The Wii U, until I played Mario kart 8 with my lady. It was a surprise for me. I had shunned console gaming after being burned by MS and Sony last gen. I'm not disappointed in the least with it. PC/WiiU combo works beautifully.

I still think its partly the devs fault too cause even when a game is delayed, the game is still broken day 1. Devs need to regain control of the industry and not let business men dictate everything.
Could be both because even games that are delayed run like shit day 1. Day 1 purchases are a gamble most of the time.
