No, gamers know this nonsense is par for the course for the last few years. Gamers need to stop buying things day 1 or even month 1 at this point and let this nonsense be hashed out before buying

almost as they knew gamers would be impatient

You are still able to play the multiplayer unofficially though

Isn’t UO made by one of the creators of Final Fantasy Tactics? Surprised not to see it on this list

I feel like everyone missed the part where Microsoft stated they would integrate Xbox into Windows and eventually push everything to the cloud. Which is exactly what they’ve been doing for years now. Not sure why the rumor would upset anyone if true.

And sega is introducing NG+ as paid DLC...

And it’ll continue until people stop buying games during the intial release window and preordering

The last 12 months have been amazing for fighting games. This might the first time in over a decade that we’ve had almost amazing consistency across the board

Which version is getting a theatrical release, original (on DVD) or complete (on Bluray)?

The thing is that a lot of this PII are probably already online for better or worse. There have been countless major leaks and data breaches in the past few years that have completely flown under the radar either because we’re desensitized or whatever the case may be.

If it isn’t airgapped, odds are that it could still be accessed by someone who really wants to get it.

I’d hope that gamers learn their lesson and stop preordering shit or believe in the hype, but this is yet another time where they don’t learn

Us former employees had been screaming how shit GameStop is overall for over 10 years, especially on this site. Sometimes a lesson needs to be learned the hard way

This has been a thing for over a decade at gamestop. They have intentionally made the shopping experience bad.

Sucks but the only way this ends is to stop giving gamestop business

This is a case where store employees were the only ones getting truly screwed. They should’ve have staged a mass walk out.

Customers fucking over a shitty corporation is always a win.

Broken fighting games have always been more fun to play and more entertaining to watch

The other thing to keep in mind is that a lot of console OS’ prevent the game from launching without the day 1 patch

I doubt this will ever happen for two reasons:
* This would require some R&D cost to make it hot swapable with their devices. I doubt theyre going to spend more money than they already do with media, as media sales have dropped the past few years.

* Theyre going to want to control all aspects of licensing and the likes

It’s the same issue that always occured with computing in the past. As storage media gets cheaper, the devs wanting to do optimization work lessens.

This makes me miss the days of user hosted dedicated servers where you could cheat and mod to your hearts content (at least when it comes to MP).
