Lazy ass devs. Releasing things rushed so that they don't miss holiday money. This has been common for the last few years. Now a days, they're just getting wreckless. This is part of the reason why I stopped buying games when they release.

I wouldnt call their comment definitive. If you recall they said the GC controller adaptor would work with all games that supported the classic controller on their site. Then NOJ said that that was a mistake and would only work with smash. Until NOJ says its so, I'd take it with a grain of salt
