I’d just get another E60 with low miles.

My BIL has a GS350 F-Sport. Doesn’t like the power delivery but he’s used an E60 535i with an ECU flash.

LMFAO

Yeah that hydrant was completely unexpected. I seriously didn’t laugh until I saw that.

LMAO!

If it’s going to be a weekend car or you have a short commute, go for something with higher mileage that’s been well cared for. They’re a lot cheaper that way. IMO, these cars are better bought with miles on them. Better chance of it being maintained well. I bought mine from a guy that DD it but his commute was only 5

I’d rock one if it had a newer engine in it.

Even when you explain how much you paid for it they say “well maintenance costs and such”. Then when you explain how much you pay in maintenance they say “that’s way less than I expected” while giving you that look of disbelief.

It’s not that expensive to own. Sure parts are more than a Camry but then you aren’t driving a Camry. I DD a 2008 Cayman S. The key is buy the parts yourself and only have work done by a respected independent mechanic. The absolute cheapest way to own a Porsche is don’t daily it and find one that already has the

Just 1st gen Boxsters and 996's. You can replace the IMS with aftermarket if you’re worried. The 2nd gen Boxster/Cayman had a different design. Also, the consensus is that the more miles on the car, the less likely the bearing will fail.

True but I would never own a car that was meh on the first drive.

I starred you for Fartbury.

I drove one. Meh comes to mind.

My idea of a drivers car is a car designed to give one the “driving experience”. Whether or not you like the car, BMW most definitely fits that. I get in my wife’s old X1 then get in a Ford Edge or get in her current 328i then get in a Camry. The difference is readily apparent. Maybe some of you can’t tell but it’s

Don’t remember seeing a LSD on the options list. I know there are aftermarket options.

Er. Why would I want a Buick Regal GS over a Cayman or 911?

I DD a manual Cayman and would prefer a PDK but not offered on the 987.1's.

LMFAO

I live in a high wind area too. 25 mph ain’t shit.

I was waiting for him to bite it but he didn’t even bobble on that landing.
