I paid under $2k parts and labor on mine and that included the flywheel.

Get one with 50k+ miles on it.

Got an 08 Cayman S a year and a half ago with 66k miles. I put 250 miles a week on it. Love it!

40k-60k miles on a clutch is typical so if that car was within that range expect to replace it. Oh and if you spent to $2k on it, you got raped.

Drove a Cayman, bought a Cayman. It’s wierd to daily drive your dream car. I’ve had it a year and a half and still can’t believe it.

You reminded me that if this is a 2nd car then that REALLY reduces the cost to own.

Maintenance isn’t bad but the Turbo’s have some extra stuff that the NA’s don’t so overall more cash. Parts are expensive (especially if you stick to OEM), labor costs not bad.

No difference in prices between auto and manual 911's in the US.

This would be where my money goes.

If you want to see a plethora of old, totally sweet cars there’s no better place than central coast CA.

1. Porsche 718 Cayman S - turbo engine so lots of room for hp mods to keep up with newer performance cars.

How did you know I only had one ball?

One of these days I’ll have one.

Guess I’m done reading your articles. How childish.

Came here for this.

Not true.

Mine was spot on.

This here is some damn funny shit!

You can stay! Awesome stuff!

I think it has nothing to do with the Euro E36 M3 since hardly anyone has driven that one in the US. I really think it’s because the E30 and E46 are better cars and not much more money (for an E46 m3 anyways).
