Just don’t buy it with the OPTIONAL tires then. Jesus Christ, why is this a problem?

The LNF was no where near high strung. 9.5:1 compression ratio. REALLY tiny turbocharger (pretty much maxed out at 300hp). Same intake cam and head as the 2.2L’s. 260hp is nothing for a 4 cylinder turbo even on that engine. You’re pulling shit out your ass.

My car had a perfect AF ratio (DFI). It did not comsume lots of fuel (28-30 mpg average on my commute). And passed CA smog with ease. Snap, crackle, pop.

Then you don’t know anything about the Cobalt SS turbo. Car and Driver called it the best handling fwd car at the time. If you look up it’s lap time on Car and Driver’s Lightning Lap, it punches WAY above it’s paygrade. I’ll take the Cobalt.

It’s the same engine with a different ECU tune.

It’s the cam switchover point. It’s set WAY too high. It literally makes 180hp for 1000 rpm. Makes the car way slower than it should be. I’ve driven a few of these. “Haul ass” is does not.

Came here for this.

It’s called high strung V8. Porsche is never going to have that.

How do you know it’s fabricated?

I put a 3" exhaust on my old Solstice turbo and it cracked and popped. It’s a turbo thing. Not everything is fake.

You beat me to it. 128i is WAY more comfortable. You could probably do 2 kids if one was a little older and didn’t require as much stuff.

I found this greatly amusing.

LOL! Good point! Although the Solstice (and its sister Sky) did sell well every year it was in production. Too bad it was attached to Pontiac. I had one with the turbo (GXP). Bought it new and kept it 9 years and put 140k on it. Great car! VERY reliable and most definitely the cheapest to own car I’ve ever had. One of

I had a 04 Spec V. Put 48k miles on it before selling it to get a Solstice turbo. Mine was like brand new when I sold it.

I had a Spec V, it was a fun car.

No it doesn’t. Both cars sold about 16k last year. So far this year they sold a bit over 8k.

Convertible, proven.

All that is true but even for this type of car the sales aren’t up to par. It really is a shitty seller.

The SE-R Sentra of the ‘90s was a step back in my opinion.
