Deadpool 2: "Deadtwol" (Dead-Tool)

Where is Luminere's face?

If Del Toro is out, then my hopes of Swamp Thing and Dead Man being played with make-up and prosthetics by Ron Perlman and Doug Jones, respectively, isn't completely abolished, but much less likely.

After some rewrites, Black Manta will be replaced with Ocean Master for the film, who will pal around with Arthur before betraying him at the end. By the third movie, the filmmakers will decide that adapting a character called "Black Manta" will be problematic for some reason, and instead go for a bait-and-switch

I honestly think BvS might have been better if, instead of shoehorning Doomsday in there, they made the guy in the wheelchair into Metallo who would be puppeteered by Luthor to fight Supes and Bats at the end of the movie.

I'm stoked they roped in Rick Famuyiwa to direct, much less someone who actually has prior directing experience. Add to that and Lord & Miller writing it, I'm pretty optimistic on this so far.

Damn, I was so sure the dad was gonna end up being Adam Warlock, what with his connections to the Infinity Gems and prior associations with Gamora and Thanos, not to mention the fact that Ayesha is already going to be the villain in this sequel.

Gremlins? That'll be interesting to see.

I'd be down with this. Adapt the period when Raven ran the "Freedom Force", have her have to take orders from Valerie Cooper and start a romance with Irene "Destiny" Adler.

Funny you mention that, because I always thought if there was ever a feature adaptation of Kingdom Come—big-budgeted live-action or straight-to-video animated—Hamm would be my first pick for Clark.

I've been gunning for a while now on the rumor that Adam Warlock is going to be Star-Lord's long-lost father. Does that mean Kurt Russel will be playing a supreme godlike being here? If he is, that might tie the father/son reunion with the final confrontation with the villain, as well as making the conflict at large

"I just love the actual art form of comics, and not just cartoon characters. I think it's sad that so many fans are willing to sell out that art form because they want to see Rorschach hang out with Batman or whatever other mindless consumer reasons people have."

Well, it looks like DC has their very own Peter Parker/Miles Morales dynamic now that they have two Wally Wests living in the same universe…

Danny Antonucci is so fucking awesome for responding to that mock-pitch; it really only made the joke even better.

I agree, even when it is justified it can come across as convenient and contrived, but with the right writing talents at hand, it can still work. I usually reference Under the Red Hood whenever this "Why doesn't Batman kill" discussion comes up: Bruce himself confesses that, yeah, someone as irredeemable as Joker

I do admit, it came out of nowhere at the next episode after this, but the inclusion lead me to speculate Simpson is meant to be the stand-in for Mad Dog, what with the "super drug-pumped soldier" backstory as well as the problematic relationship with Ms. Walker. Still a little puzzled as to why the IGH plot thread

It looks as if that'll be the main move as origin stories go, other than "Oh, I'm actually Inhuman". Kind of ironic the MCU is strong-armed into going that route, what with the inability to add mutants to the world mythos, since creating the whole mutant thing in the first place was so every origin didn't have to

I just finished this season a couple of hours ago, and while I have a few notes here and there regarding several components to the series and how they evolve throughout the season as well as contribute to the overall narrative of the story, but in regards to of the most critical parts—-Kilgrave himself—the comment

I was tempted to pull a quote from that episode of Futurama concerning multiverse mishaps, but couldn't think of a point of phrase that would just seem disjointed to your original question.
