I really like all the points this article made, mostly because it brings together a lot of pondering I've had over this franchise, and one of its entries in particular. I will admit that even as a child Goosebumps wasn't particularly scary, but it did have the capability of creating some eerie world-building, and

Definitely could have gone without the intrusive voice-over. Forth Wall-breaking or not, it made the pace of this trailer feel like a bad cab driver the way everything was screeching to a halt and trying to start up again.

Boy, you're really adamant about this, aren't you?

Yeah, the initial teaser trailer was far more nuanced.
"Where's the CG explosions? Where's the DUPSTEP?!?"

I would assume presenting a non-robot Dr. Nefarious is setting up sequel bait. Either way, I just hope there's still time for Lawrence to have a supporting part for this movie.

Yeah, I have a feeling it's going to be Earth-2 Eddie, so he'll basically fill the character role of Hunter Zolomon.

I would think it would just be easier for the animators for the action sequences.

I'm really digging the sleeveless trench-coat look.

I wouldn't have known about that; I've seen only the first two episodes of Avengers Assemble along with a random episode involving the Squadron Supreme, and haven't had much incentive to revisit it.
So does that mean all these new animated shows have their own shared universe?

I'm hoping by the middle or end of the season it's revealed the sudden window blinds effect in regards to Pizzaz is caused by faulty lampshading.

Yeah, I think they confused Grandmaster with Mojo in terms of characterization.

That'll be for the inevitable Axel Braun parody.

I really hope the next season premiere (or heck, maybe even a Venture Bros.-style mini-sode) could detail the days of Rick, Birdperson and Squanchy living as galactic rockstar outlaws.

Well, at least there's Archer (As well as its successor, Cassius & Clay) up for this winter.

"You like that!? You want me to cut to three weeks earlier, when you were alive!?"

Looking down at the comments, it seems everyone was thinking the same thing: How could they have screwed up a property with such varied sci-fi stories so ripe for adaptation? Just throwing my two cents into the mix, if the intention was to follow the vibe of the Ultimate series, that makes it all the more frustrating

I remember feeling the origin of the catch phrase in the last movies was kinda corny back in the day, but oh boy was randomly quoting a crummy beta-action figure of yourself so much more endearing that what they went with here.

That's especially what I was thinking about during BoJack's solemn trek back to L.A., and that might well be what he was mulling over too.

That low,self-defeatist register BoJack gave when Charlotte walked in on him gave the impression he wasn't trying to defend himself in the slightest, that he was anticipating this. Not that he could have predicted Charlotte would have walked in when she did, but in the wake of him getting turned down by her advances,

I too agree with VanDerWerff's write-up comparing Bojack to Don Draper, but I'd also make some collations between him and Hank Moody, if not for that one sequence heading back to L.A. Lounging on the yacht being hauled into the city, looking cool and collected in the aftermath of crushing self-disgrace, was giving me
