In my mind, this should be purchasable. Spend $2, unlock all of the characters.

I’m so on board with this. The human characters in Smash tend to be the more boring ones. Piranha Plant sounds brilliant.

Is that a typo, or are they just making a sneaky reference to their avatars when they talk about amounts in “miilions”?

Sounds like a form of uncanny valley. As the art form gets more realistic, the cracks become more obvious.

It also sounds like you’re looking for a sim, or at least a world that would go along with its business just fine without you. Are there any games out there that manage to pull that off?

“Employees apparently received about five weeks of severance and benefits for one month, the letter suggests.”

I’m also anosmic, and I know a handful of other people who are, too. (A former coworker, a substitute teacher from high school, etc.)

I had no idea about the video game smell thing... that’s a new one for me. It seems like every few months I discover something else that I wouldn’t have expected has a scent (your “smell

The actual fading in of the music at that moment isn’t particularly difficult. This kind of thing is just a simple crossfade that an audio engine like FMOD can handle without issue. I mean, it was only recently that they actually realized that dividing their toys between “boys toys” and “girls toys” wasn’t working so well for

For clarification... is this an article hoping that people will die? Destruction of property? What effect of the hurricane on Florida will make you go “Yep, I’m glad that happened”?

Not the first time Jesus has been ridiculed. Won’t be the last. Meh.

Fair. At the very least, it gave Ubisoft precedents to look at when pitching their own game where weapons are at the forefront.

You know, Super Smash Bros. can have Mario shooting lasers. Not exactly a first.

It’s a funny thing to find out that your game has been mentioned in a Kotaku article, only to discover that it’s literally the first in a list of games being compared to sewage.

I get the point of the article, of course... there’s a mountain of games being shoveled into Steam every day. But if you do happen to try out
