You know, on the bright side, without all the body structure, you can really appreciate the mid-engined layout though. Right? Too soon? Maybe too soon.

Premature conflagration.

Looks more Land Rover Defender to me than Jeep. But cool either way.

All that time and energy working on the interior (and the flowery language about it), ... and people are actually just going to get in and immediately take out their phone. So, I imagine it will seem a lot like any other car with comfortable seats.

Holy obnoxious, batman.

Apart from the fact that digging tunnels everywhere seems fundamentally unworkable, I think this idea suffers from a more basic issue of demand. If I’m reading things right (including the several drivers a day who I see glued to their phone WHILE driving), if we really can get cars to drive themselves on the highway,

Now, I had been led to believe that in the future, our cars were going to fly ABOVE the ground....

Right... I can’t think of anything that might go wrong with a bunch of “interns” and other “people” paying “part-time” attention to a “second-hand” boring machine continuously digging a tunnel somewhere underneath the feet of unsuspecting people. It’s a non-issue.

Wow. Wow. Well played.

The way lol is thrown around these days, it means nothing, I know. But for what it’s worth, that part about the steering wheel actually did make me laugh out loud.

“she did claim she wasn’t aware she was going that fast”

Yup. Came here to say — sounds like a pretty cool individual.

I really enjoyed the “I tried to walk away” argument, given that he was found OUTSIDE his truck, and sitting ON TOP of the other guy. I mean, I have a fairly advanced three year old, so feel free to take that into account, but he definitely comes up with better excuses.

Well, if this guy was single-handedly trying to change the reputation of Canadians, the other twelve people, including a woman who bravely walked up and confronted a crazed man in the process of beating another with a club, certainly more than counterbalanced it.

It looks a lot better. More than I thought a few fender flares would change. However, I wish they had made the rear wheel flare integrate somehow with the next angle above it — that one area emphasizes the bolt-on nature of things, and (I think) detracts from what is otherwise a very nice upgrade to the overall look

I definitely learned it from a car. However, unless I heard it on a vacation (and that seems hard to believe, because my memory of it is strong), it had to have either been a Dodge Omni or a first-generation Plymouth Voyager (minivan).

Who says subliminal advertising doesn’t work.

I love it - nine of the ten teams are essentially saying, unless we can do better, I’d rather take my chances than look that stupid. It’s not a ridiculous sentiment.

Also, the 911 GT3R Hybrid had a humongous flywheel sitting in the passenger seat. Perhaps you’d argue that it wasn’t the whole engine, but it weighed 103 lb, and was able to give 163 hp of boost (for six seconds, but ignore that), so significant enough to be a full engine by many measures. And, of course, located

Interesting. Thanks for the info. I’d still think twice before placing myself mere inches away from his bumper as he hoons a car that was never meant to rally down a dirt and gravel path though. Just takes one brief moment of lost traction to carve a slightly different line that includes you and your camera.
