The Mazdaspeed 6 back in the day was a pretty good enthusiast car (though reliability was questionable at best).

In large urban areas, they’ve got a definite niche. More so in Europe than here in the US, but you’ll still see a ton of them here, especially in coastal cities.

Niche and low volume cars aer every market specific. I see tons of Fiats and Alfas (and Minis) in So Cal, especially in LA County, but hardly any in the Boston burbs where I have family.

There was a time when double-digit HP and 0-60 times were common for compact cars. Now we’re like 7 seconds is SO SLOW.
