The RamCharger is the truck I am waiting for. I wish Ford would make an F-150 version.

The Mazdaspeed 6 back in the day was a pretty good enthusiast car (though reliability was questionable at best).
It’s also about two inches longer than the old Mazda 6, coming in at 193.7 inches.
As a city-dweller, this car would be fine, but as another comment puts it, it will comes down to cost.
In large urban areas, they’ve got a definite niche. More so in Europe than here in the US, but you’ll still see a ton of them here, especially in coastal cities.
That’s kind of like when they advertise those fruit snacks for kids (which are basically candy, as there’s more high fructose corn syrup than actual fruit in them) as fat free or gluten free.
Depending on the price I could see upgrading from my Leaf to this. My Leaf with 200+ range is the perfect car me. I had two previous Minis before my Leaf and loved them so this is just a Leaf/Mini hybrid that could be just right for me with the added benefit that if I wanted to road trip I could with extra time to the…
Yes, must be regional. In LA, they’re everywhere. Very popular here.
Niche and low volume cars aer every market specific. I see tons of Fiats and Alfas (and Minis) in So Cal, especially in LA County, but hardly any in the Boston burbs where I have family.
There was a time when double-digit HP and 0-60 times were common for compact cars. Now we’re like 7 seconds is SO SLOW.
Yeah, the performance is on the bottom end, if they can sell it under 30k, maybe, but 38k, fuggedaboudit!
It’s all going to be about the Price.

50 mile electric range PHEVs are only required in California, and some states that follow its lead. I also heard something about 70 instead of 50.
I REALLY wanted the TRD Pro when they first released pics of the new generation. I had a deposit placed back in August for one at MSRP but was expecting it to be priced around $55k, similar to the Ranger Raptor. Once pricing was reviled for the non-hybrid models it became apparent this thing was going to be in the mid…
Elon Musk may be wrong about most things, but on one thing he was dead right: hydrogen is dumb. It’s either wastefully inefficient or it’s just natural gas with an extra (unnecessary step). If you are going to make a crazy v12, just run it on gas. If you want to greenwash it, maybe just run it on E85 and call it…
It’s Ferrari owners, they’ll probably just air drop the cells from an AC-130.
No hydrogen infrastructure = no chance in hell.
