A quick glance at the nets and you can pick up a Hybrid CT6 practically brand new with 3 to 8K miles in the low 42K price range.  That’s a big difference from the 75K price noted here.

I live right outside of DC, the land of Black Cars, and I’ve only seen about a dozen CT6's since release. I’ve seen many of the new Continentals, that says something.

Honestly, i’m kind of on the fence about this. This seems like the perfect car to start building their hybrid/ev cred and they are dropping it. The CT6 is their best and most advanced vehicle it really should have a hybrid model.

36 year old electrical engineer here. I was actually rather interested in it, but I am about 20 years too early in my career to be considering a $75k+ car. I am more at the “new Volvo/Infiniti/Acura/Buick or used E-class/CTS/GS” phase of my career.  In my case, I went with a fully loaded Mustang Premium.

The spirit is eager but the resources are weak.

Ask and ye shall find. Spotted this yesterday on CL.

I like it.

I know how blasphemous i might be. I get all the hate, and i think that Jalop’s might dislike jeeps in general. That said, i want a mid size pickup that can tow a car on a trailer. My wife and i had a wrangler Unlimited rental in ashville NC a couple years ago, and loved it.

i dont know why people were expecting it to have a huge bed. Its basically a jeep with a little tub slapped onto it. The tow rating is pretty ok i guess

How much money will I giving jeep for a 3.0 diesel with a 6 speed?

Not even going to read the comments. It’s cool. I like it because 1) I like convertibles. 2) it has 4wd 3) it won’t smell like a locker room when I have two teams’ worth of soccer balls and equipment in the back 4) it’s a convertible.

All these guys saying what does it have that the Taco, Ranger or Colorado don’t have?

Just gonna point out for the naysayers that this is the SOP for mid-size trucks and SUVs around the world. Toyota has the Fortuner and Hilux, Nissan has the Navarra and Terra, Mitsubishi has the Strada and Montero Sport. I don’t see how FCA doing the same thing using the Wrangler is a bad move.

Everyone bitching about the smallish bed like we didn’tdidn’t all see same spy shots of this for months. You all knew what it would be.

oh pretty please an extended cab! like the original show car!

2005 Jeep Gladiator concept finally makes it to market!

A manual diesel pickup truck from Jeep?

To all the haters, the moment Jeep offers it in brown and you realize it’s actually a brown, manual, diesel 4WD wagon (with T tops) you’ll all freak out like it’s the second coming.

You haters don’t get it- that’s why your not in marketing and/or driving a Prius. They’ve promised this for years, concepts galore. Frothing buyers left frustrated to the likes of AEV conversions. You’ll see Colorado’s and Tacoma’s as trade ins by the dozen- let that be the measuring stick.

If I get one, I’m going to take some video clips and ask people if they like Gladiator movies. Also, I’d call it Joey
