Not to mention from a financial side, this setup makes the most sense.  There are plenty of us that would love the small cab+big bed combo, but we’re the same market that wants manual everything.  We make up such a small slice of the pie, it’s not worth the tooling costs.

To Everyone saying this has been done before- No it hasn’t. This is a 4 door convertible truck. Until now Jeeps could not do two things. Tow and Haul small loads. This literally does both while still being a Wrangler. IF this comes in close to Wrangler pricing with a sport JKU(Truck) starting near 30k, with the

Why is anyone surprised?

New Dakota on the same platform.

How about a 3rd row?

Agreed. I’m one of them. That thing drives over parking barriers in shopping centers like they aren’t there!  haha  Most people don’t use the 4WD system, and they likely won’t use the pickup bed, but it’s certainly a cool looking truck.

I agree. I’ve been considering a mid-size p/u for a while, but most are ugly or bland. This looks better than I anticipated for Wrangler+bed. I don’t understand all the hate from other commenters.

Oh dear god! WHY DO I LOVE IT SO MUCH!?!?

I think this will be an incredible seller as well.  I see a ton of perfectly clean JKUs (4 doors) in the well to do suburbs, and we all know about how well 4 door crew cab half tons with short 5.5 foot beds sell.  This is the logical melding of the two.  I’m just curious to see what the tow ratings are like.

They’re likely the exact same doors as the unlimited to save on costs. They just moved the rear wheels back.

That’s awesome, well except that it’s made by Jeep.  Hopefully they will offer a single cab short bed.  One thing is for sure, it’s going to be stupid expensive.

Neat.  It looks exactly like everyone knew it would.  :)

Someone’s gonna put a hillbilly hot tub in it. I guarantee it.

Will Ram get a Power Wagon version?

Give me this with the proposed Hybrid system and all will be right with the world.

the bed looks better than I expected. Kind of interesting how the rear flare covers the bed gap. and the fuel door is really high. I wonder if the neck impedes on the bedspace.

It’s beautiful. Be prepared to see them everywhere driven by only the bro-iest of Bros.
