The Leaf has actually been around for a good bit as well, & an earlier one can be scooped up fairly inexpensively. I’ve considered it, as my daily commute is around 20 miles.
Bolt, Leaf, Ioniq, numerous plug-in hybrids. There will be more and more options each year.
Agreed but a lot of stuff goes like this - businesses will think profit margin first and foremost, thus target the well off. Eventually there will be some trickle down. I mean the Bolt or Leaf are actually pretty solid daily drivers for a ‘reasonable’ price. They are obviously not a 600hp Porsche, however.
Yup, my sales advisor told me that it is a 7-9 month wait on an E63S Wagon.
These smaller very expensive wagons don’t sell because Americans never liked them. The only time wagons sold well were pre CAFE when they were very large. Think body of frame SUV lower to the ground.
It is really a great car. Which is selling in abysmal numbers... and thus reinforcing the “Americans Don’t Buy Wagons” meme.
Countless people will be excited.
Everyone on here will be so excited to hear this that exactly six people will go out and buy it brand new. The rest will wait because depreciation/not in the market/not in manual/etc.
They will sell dozens!
I don’t love the headlight shape.
with the exception of the rear end almost the whole car looks like it.
600-plus HP, 310 mile range, and “fast-charging capability to soak up enough energy in 15 minutes to cover 248 miles”
You still can’t see out of it, but at least other people will see you coming from two and a half miles away.
I can't believe I'd ever say this. But I miss when a Chevy Blazer was a Chevy Blazer.
