It seems like Porsche still has a fairly high manual transmission take rate.

My 69 year-old mom has never driven anything other than a manual. Most women and men outside of the US can “quite competently” drive manual vehicles.

I still see a decent amount of newer manual Porsche 911's and Boxster’s/Cayman’s on the road. Many of the rich people buying these sport sedans probably have a stick shift car they drive on the weekends.
