Well, Acura nailed the windows being 1/3 the size of the sheetmetal of the door and rocker panel, the thick pillars for horrendous outward visibility, as well as the swoopy back window that limits the “utility” part of SUV.

Because we all watched too many Cylons on Battlestar Galactica. Or KITT on Knight Rider.

This. Thank you.

North side of Clear Lake.

True that. Election season is... always.

Dang. So two things: a bunch of people should be fired, and we don’t have to have such crappy outward visibility?

Agree. Talk about an outdated policy that needs to be looked at to be revamped... oh, both sides will just yell at each other.

1964 Willys Traveller:

How is this possible? The pillars are thick. The belt line is high. The windows are tiny. How much sheet metal and steel horizontal beams does a vehicle need to pass these test? Or is the goal to have every modern vehicle look like a battle tank? Where is the disconnect?

How about make AM radio an option and charge more for it? This should pay for the additional shielding/insulation, etc.

Blame it on electrification. Blame in on COVID. Either way, it sounds hollow.

Can’t wait to see if this a LeSabre-type coupe or an X6/GLE/AMC Eagle-type coupe.

I hear you. I can’t steer or brake many a Mazda Miata. (6'6").

I’m 6'6" and agree. The Honda CRX is a close second.

But won’t someone think of the “white space?”

Does it come with a Velociraptor?

I tried that at the LA Auto Show and couldn’t get it to work.

Makes sense.

Probably powering internal lights or something extra for the car show from a nearby 120V outlet.

1. Why does the top of the steering wheel block so much of the speedometer for taller drivers?
