Former USFS 1974 Dodge 4x4 crew cab approves:

Who needs outward visibility when you got a crossover “coupe?”

Thank you for this. Very much appreciated.

Holy Honda CrossTour, Batman.

Meanwhile cars (vehicles) are tougher to see out of: higher belt lines, thicker pillars, higher hoods, worse rear visibility... none of the safety standards affect those outside the car.

It will be interesting to see more details on the safety claims at Rivian.

It’s too bad. I travel a lot for work and the small airports are a breeze for security, parking, etc.

Exactly this. Thank you.

It didn’t make the news, but starting with their August 2022 decision, CARB is defining strong hybrids as:

It looks like a Gen 2 Volt with worse outward visibility.

This. Exactly this.

Maybe plant (the right kind of) trees between the buildings and the road then.

Some schools in the Bay Area are doing this with EV charging beneath. School staff use it during the day; neighbors use it during nights (not the solar part) and weekends.

So much this.

“Traveller?” I prefer the “Willys” Kaiser-Jeep Traveller, built from 1960 to 1964:

Bummer. CARB just put more value into strong PHEVs with their August ruling.

Yeah, had this experience back in the early 2000s on some cheap airline in Europe. They weighed us and our luggage at check-in. Long lines.

If it were my dealership, I wouldn’t put in fast chargers - maybe 24 kW.

Sounds like there needs to be a discussion about whether or not fast chargers - and if so - what size are truly needed.

Looks nice. Bigger windows? Is there a plug-in hybrid?
